Mixed-flow fans are a type of mixed-flow fan that combine the characteristics of axial fans and centrifugal fans, widely used in industrial and architectural fields. Here is a detailed introduction:

Structure Composition

Taking the X45.25 model mixed-flow fan as an example, it mainly consists of the impeller, casing, inlet collector, outlet guide vanes, and motor. The casing adopts a cylindrical shape, connected into a whole by three flange sections. The inlet collector is designed in a streamline shape, equipped with sound-absorbing mesh panels, while the outlet is fitted with guide vanes to ensure good airflow distribution and maintain stable pressure characteristics.

Working Principle

When the impeller of a mixed-flow fan rotates, gas enters the impeller axially. Inside the impeller, the gas undergoes both axial and radial movement before exiting at an angle to the axis. The X45 mixed-flow fan follows this principle, where the rotation of the impeller imparts kinetic and static energy to the gas, thus achieving functions such as ventilation, exhaust, and air supply.

Performance Features

High Efficiency and Energy Saving: Combining the advantages of axial and centrifugal fans, it can produce greater airflow and higher static pressure with the same motor power, resulting in higher fan efficiency and lower power consumption during operation, saving energy.

Low Noise: With reasonable blade design, the fan operates smoothly, producing less noise, suitable for installation in places with high noise requirements.

Compact Structure: Compared to axial fans with the same airflow and pressure, it has a smaller volume, can be directly connected to the duct, and can be installed horizontally or vertically, making operation and use convenient.

Strong Applicability: This series of products comes in single-speed and dual-speed models. By changing the fan's installation angle, number of blades, and speed, different usage requirements can be met.

Application Fields

The X45 mixed-flow fan is suitable for applications requiring "high pressure + moderate airflow." In building ventilation systems, it can be used for basement and corridor smoke extraction, as well as air conditioning supply in malls and office buildings. In the industrial field, it can be used for ventilation and dust removal in factory workshops and gas transportation in the chemical industry.
