Product Description

Centrifugal corrosion-resistant fans work by drawing gas into the center of the impeller, where it is thrown out along the blade passages under centrifugal force; axial flow corrosion-resistant fans draw gas into the inlet collector, gain energy through the impeller, and then discharge along the axial direction.

They can be classified by pressure into low-pressure corrosion-resistant fans (total pressure ≤ 1 kPa), medium-pressure corrosion-resistant fans (1 kPa < total pressure ≤ 3 kPa), and high-pressure corrosion-resistant fans (3 kPa < total pressure ≤ 15 kPa).

Materials

Commonly used corrosion-resistant materials include fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), polypropylene (PP), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The impeller may also be lined with rubber or coated with PTFE. In high-temperature applications, high-temperature resistant stainless steel such as 316L is often selected.

Performance characteristics

They feature strong corrosion resistance, capable of stable operation in acidic, alkaline, and chemical gas environments. Some corrosion-resistant fans also have explosion-proof, high-temperature resistance, and high-efficiency features. Additionally, those made from materials like FRP offer advantages such as light weight, high strength, low noise, and low maintenance costs.

Application scenarios

Widely used in industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, environmental protection, and pharmaceuticals. For example, in the chemical industry for conveying acidic gases, alkaline gases, or organic solvent vapors; in environmental protection and waste gas treatment as Supporting facilities fans for industrial exhaust purification systems; and in metallurgy and metal processing for handling corrosive gases produced during smelting processes.
