Axial flow cooling fans for cement plant rotary kilns are specially designed to address excessive internal temperatures in rotary kilns by providing effective ventilation and heat dissipation. These fans feature an outlet positioned close to the rotary kiln, enabling efficient cooling. The fan unit consists of a collector, main air duct, diffuser, discharge pipe, and a movable support frame. Available models include NO3/4/4.5/5/5.5/6/7/8. Motor power options range from 1.5/2.2/3.0/4.0/5.5/7.5 kW; specific parameters should be consulted with the manufacturer.
A rotary kiln is a thermal processing equipment used for calcining, roasting, or drying granular and powdered materials.
As a conventional type of kiln, the rotary kiln has existed for over a century, but it has typically been large or extra-large in scale, primarily applied to the primary coarse processing of powders or mineral materials—such as clinker production and calcination in cement manufacturing, and processing in kaolin and rare earth industries. Although these kilns have high production capacities, they suffer from significant temperature gradients, low temperature control accuracy, poor sealing capability, and an inability to achieve precise atmosphere control. [1]
